Custom Project Uploader Privacy Policy

Your privacy is extremely important to us. This policy clearly and transparently explains how the Custom Project Uploader application collects, uses, stores, and protects your data in compliance with TikTok guidelines and applicable legislation.

1. Data We Collect

Our application collects basic identification information from your TikTok profile through the official user.info.basic scope. This data includes only:

• Unique profile identifier (open id)
• Display name
• Profile avatar image

No other personal information is obtained or requested.

2. How We Use Data

• Identification: The collected profile data serves solely and exclusively to show which account is connected in the desktop application panel.
• Draft Publishing: The video.upload publishing scope is used under your exclusive command to transfer the video files selected on your local computer directly to your drafts folder (Drafts) in your TikTok account, allowing for subsequent editing and publishing.
• No Autonomous Actions: The application never reads private messages, does not access unrelated data, and never posts any content autonomously without your direct and conscious action.

3. Local Storage, Security, and Privacy

We adopt an architecture focused on user security:

• The OAuth access tokens obtained (access_token and refresh_token) are encrypted and stored exclusively locally on the end-user's machine, in the configuration file tiktok_token.json.
• Zero External Server: Our servers do not receive, store, or process your tokens, videos, or profile information. All communication occurs directly and encrypted between your machine and the official TikTok APIs.

4. User Rights and Data Deletion

You have full control over your credentials and can delete your data at any time:

• Local Data Deletion: To immediately erase all information stored by the software, simply delete the local configuration file tiktok_token.json in the application's installation folder on your computer.
• Access Revocation: You can permanently revoke the application's access at any time through the official connected app security settings within your TikTok account. After revocation, the application will no longer have permission to use the TikTok API for that account.
